BATHURST police are hunting two men who kicked in a door during a home invasion in Ross Place early Tuesday morning.

Chief Inspector Luke Rankin from Chifley Police District said the two men burst into the home around 4am.
One of the people inside immediately the home immediately called triple-0 after hearing a loud bang.
While she was on the phone the two men forced their way into the property and told the woman she wouldn't be hurt if she handed over any money in the house.
Chief Inspector Rankin said the offenders allegedly took property from the house.
They also damaged the dwelling in the course of accessing the home before fleeing with a very small amount of cash.
Chief Inspector Rankin said police immediately began patrolling the area and spoke to the victim and other residents inside the house.
He said a crime scene was established with forensic police processing the property while other police canvassed neighbours in the area.

Police said the two offenders were described as both aged in their 20s and of Aboriginal appearance.
The first man was around 180cm tall, skinny build, wearing a grey or green hoodie and black tracksuit pants and a dark bandanna over his face.
The second offender was also around 180cm tall, medium build and wearing a dark jumper. He also had a black bandanna over his face.
Chief Inspector Rankin said it appeared the incident was targeted and investigators are following a number of lines of inquiry.
He said no one was injured in the incident, with the offenders making off with just a small amount of cash.
"Thankfully it was over quite quickly. No one was injured and the police were there straight away," he said.
Chief Inspector Rankin said while police have canvassed neighbours, he urged anyone who may have seen something suspicious or know anything about the incident to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
