THE Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation is seeking a volunteer in the Bathurst region to act as a cervical cancer awareness presenter, predominantly in high schools.

The foundation's community engagement co-ordinator Jacqui Greenfield said some availability during weekdays will be necessary and training will be provided.
She said a background in health, education or some connection with cervical cancer would be ideal.
"This role requires the volunteer to speak to large audiences in a presentation ranging from 30 minutes to one hour," Ms Greenfield said.
"Volunteers use prepared presentations to engage with the audience, encouraging questions and discussion."
