With a record 81 teams set to take to Proctor Park and Police Paddock this weekend, Bathurst's accommodation options are experiencing close to capacity figures.
Quality Hotel Bathurst manager Luke Newman said the business receives a boost in bookings every time the event comes to town.
"The Bathurst Cup brings hundreds of people to town every year and as an extension, each hotel receives a welcome number of bookings," Mr Newman said.
"Some of our guests for this weekend booked six months in advance, and we rarely get any cancellations."
Mr Newman said Bathurst's consistent roster of sporting events keep local hotels busy for much of the year.
"Our weekends are heavily booked up to May, as there are a number of events scheduled between now and then," he said.
"The guests generally come in on Friday and leave on Sunday."
Quality Hotel Bathurst has 50 rooms, and Mr Newman said most guests make use of the venue's restaurant during their stay.
"The restaurant is generally full during sporting weekends, and guests order a bit of everything," he said.
"Some visitors make use of our conference room for team meetings, though this probably won't happen during the Bathurst Cup."
Mr Newman said the venue attracts visitors competing in a range of different sports.
"We attract a lot of golfers and basketball players due to our proximity to the golf club and the Bathurst Indoor Sports Stadium," he said.
"But in reality, any sporting event results in a busy weekend for us."
Mr Newman said the venue makes sure to let visitors know of the other attractions Bathurst has to offer.
"Mount Panorama is an obvious attraction, but we also recommend visitors to check out the Bathurst Fossil and Mineral Museum, Machattie Park and Abercrombie House," he said.
Mr Newman said the venue also experienced a busy day during Sir Elton John's recent concert in Bathurst.
"Our rooms were booked out 45 minutes after the tickets went on sale," he said.
"We had to redirect callers to accommodation options in Blayney, Cowra and Mudgee."
The Bathurst Cup runs from February 15 to 16.
