Held annually at Cubis Oval, the fair serves as a major fundraiser for Eglinton Public School, with around $20,000 raised annually from the event.
Event organiser Erin Boole said the fair will be a fantastic day out for all involved.
"We will have over 30 stalls at this year's fair, so there will be plenty of goods for people to browse," Ms Boole said.
"There will also be replete entertainment options for children, such as a rock climbing wall, jumping castles and craft activities."
Ms Boole said a new attraction has been added to the event for people of all ages to enjoy.
"There will be a giant inflatable maze, which we believe nowhere in Bathurst has had before," she said.
The Bathurst Soaring Club were a popular addition to last year's fair with their gilder display, and the club will make a return to this weekend's event.
In addition, the Bathurst BMX Club will stage a display, tractor rides will run throughout the day for families, and there will be music and dance performances on the day from a host of local artists.
Ms Boole said the event plays a vital role in promoting Eglinton's vibrant community spirit each year.
"The event is celebrating its 56th year in 2020 and while Eglinton has changed a lot over the years, the community spirit has never wavered," she said.
"We generally attract over 3000 people to the fair and the crowds grow each year along with the event."
Eglinton Public School principal Vicki O'Rourke said the event serves as a valuable investment into the future of students at the school.
"With the funds raised from last year's event, we were able to purchase laptops and iPads to assist in learning programs throughout the school," Ms O'Rourke said.
"We're so lucky to have a number of committed parents, mothers and fathers, who put a dedicated effort into the fair each year."
The Eglinton Country Fair will commence from 9am this Saturday.
