There are 11 trees in the park in Eglinton, along the boundary line with houses near the tennis courts.
These trees were first planted approximately two years ago, with eight of the original trees being replaced later after they had died.

The current situation is that those eight trees have also since died, with the three remaining original trees seemingly thriving.
Interestingly, council's watering truck continues to water all 11 trees, admittedly on a fairly irregular basis, despite the fact that eight of the trees are completely dead by any stretch of the imagination.
Watering the trees along Living Legends Drive I can well understand, but watering dead trees simply because they're "on the schedule" ...?
