The Warriors veterans took the last seven wickets, including the key wicket of Bailey Ferguson (100) straight after he brought up an incredible finals ton.
Cavaliers lost 6-29 as Grenfell and Morrish tore through the Maroons' middle and lower order to bowl them out for 199, short of the 9-201 target Orange City set.
Morrish took 5-40 and Grenfell finished the game with 2-26, carrying the Warriors into a third straight top grade grand final.
"Another grand final, gives us a chance to win it again," an elated Ed Morrish said.
"All the effort to get to that point. It's massive. You work hard to even get into a grand final and now we've given ourselves the best chance to win the comp."
Blake Weymouth got the game off to a good start with a 56 opening the batting on day one for the Warriors but he played a lone hand, with no other batter except Nathan Ross (26) making an impact on the score sheet.
That's largely due to the effort of Cavaliers' tweaker Angus Cumming who managed to take regular wickets, picking up 5-47.
It was all in vein, though, given City's late heroics to secure a grand final berth.
When Ferguson fell at 4-170, most would have still backed Cavaliers home but Morrish's men felt they still had a good shot despite the tricky situation they were in.
"Bailey got 100 and batted really, really well but once we got him and Harry Pearce, we had two new bats in," Morrish said.
"We tried to apply as much pressure as we could and thankfully it came off. We were able to constrict them.
"I just kept things simple and thankfully for me, Shaun Grenfell was up the other end doing the same thing."
Morrish's men still require another triumph if they're to win another premiership and when the skipper was asked who he'd rather play out of St Pat's Old Boys and Cavaliers, his answer was swift.
"Doesn't matter ... whoever's there," he said.
Cavaliers will play St Pat's Old Boys in next weekend's preliminary final to earn a rematch against City in the big dance, which will be at Wade Park.
