New team members Dr Danielle Andreussi, Dr Uri Harrington and Dr Saleh Kashba joined Ochre Medical Centre this month.
Dr Danielle Andreussi, who has a special interest in children's health, completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Griffiths University in 2012.
Since graduating, Dr Andreussi has completed various placements in regional locations across the country, but has always remained particularly interested in children's health.

"The satisfaction that I get from supporting children and their families navigate a variety of often complex and challenging health issues, to achieve positive health outcomes ultimately, has reinforced my desire to work as a general practitioner."
Dr Andreussi has chosen to settle in Bathurst with her husband due to its young, family-orientated community as they prepare for the birth of their first child.
"As a town, Bathurst was really attractive to us because of its growing young population, as well as its quaint streetscapes, rich colonial history, beautiful parks, and relative proximity to Sydney. We're excited to start our life as a family here."
Despite starting out as a physiotherapist, Dr Uri Harrington's long-term interests in sports and musculoskeletal medicine, as well as weight management medicine, led him to pursue a career in medicine.
"As a GP, I enjoy the outdoorsy lifestyle of living in a regional community. I've already begun exploring the Bathurst area, and there's a great hiking trail around Evans Crown and Kangaroo Reserve. The lifestyle I can have here complements my interests in assisting patients with injury recovery and supporting a healthy lifestyle."
Dr Saleh Kashba also brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Originally from Libya, he achieved a scholarship to complete his PHD and post-graduate training in neurosurgery in Australia in 2009.
Donna Corby, Practice Manager at Ochre, said she was excited about the addition of the three new doctors.
