Help rebuild habitat for the city's grey-headed flying foxes. Don your gardening gloves, embrace the outdoors and lend a hand to help replant native trees along the banks of the Macquarie/Wambul River. It will start at 10am at the corner of Zante Lane and Morrisset Street (just near the Wastewater Treatment Plant). Adults and kids alike can assist in planting native trees that, once mature, will provide important habitat for this threatened species. All equipment will be supplied and volunteers are encouraged to wear enclosed shoes and a wide-brimmed hat.
