The Western football graduate iced her stellar 2019-20 by winning Melbourne City's Player of the Year award.
Carpenter was already a star of Australian women's football before she made the switch from Canberra United to Melbourne City for the latest edition of the W-League.
But the Cowra native who once did battle on the turf of Bathurst's Proctor Park has taken her game to another level this season.
The talented defender started in all 14 of City's games this season, further enhancing her reputation as a wing-back under coach Rado Vidosic.
In defence she made 15 interceptions and eight crucial clearances during City's campaign, while in attack she scored two goals and provided four assists.

"The 19-year-old has always possessed freakish athleticism that allows her to dominate the right flank from fullback," W-League.com.au said of Carpenter.
"[But now] Carpenter is developing a ruthlessness in the final third when she gets into dangerous attacking positions."
The 19-year-old, who also created 31 chances, said she was honoured to win the award.
"Humbling to receive this award. Wouldn't be possible without my team-mates, coaching staff, family and amazing fans," she said.
