Competitions times have been adjusted to reflect 15 minute intervals to help with social distancing principles and to have the smallest amount of people turning up to pay for golf at any time.

Other initiatives in play are marking your own score card and verbally agreeing with your partner on the score, only one signature required on the card.

Rakes have been removed from bunkers and preferred lies in the bunker are allowed.

The hole centres have been raised so your ball does not go to the bottom of the cup, allowing you to not have to touch the pin.

Golf carts are for single use only as social distancing rules apply, carts are disinfected after each use.

Please do not congregate in numbers at the front of the Pro-shop or anywhere on the golf course.

Social play is also available, the same principals apply.

Hand sanitiser has been placed in the Pro-shop and the locker room toilets have enough water and sanitiser at any given time.

Golf is currently being slated as the safest sport in these testing times due to the vast open spaces, but please remember the social distancing rules and other initiatives must be followed at all times.

Thursday's Gold Crown Ambrose was cancelled but the men's club championships will still be going ahead of the following two weekends.
