Many Bathurst's businesses have had shut indefinitely - but many still remain open - due to strict Federal Government regulations put in place to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Thankfully Hometown Cafe can still operate, however, it's had to shut its eat-in options, while also cutting back on staff due to a lack of income.
Manager Rowland Hines said times are tough now for the cafe, but is hoping the local customers will still show their support.
"Out of all my friends, I'm the last one to go to work," he said.
"All businesses around here are struggling and we'd encouraging people to support them as much as they can because we're all in the same boat."
Hometown Cafe has made the switch to takeaway only, but business has still been down significantly.
Mr Hines said that on Thursday, he had made roughly four coffees by midday, compared to roughly 30 on a normal day.
"It's really bad. We're really struggling," he said.
"We've lost half our profit."
Hometown Cafe changed to takeaway only on Monday, in order to comply with the Federal Government's new laws to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
