Now she just wants to race again.
Triathlon is one of the multitude of sports that has been forced into a shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, while the Australian talents who had hoped to attend the Olympic Games later this year now have to wait until 2021.
Moana-Veale, who placed 26th at the Mooloolaba ITU World Cup earlier this month, is trying to look at the big picture.
"We're not sure when we're racing again now, we're hoping maybe August-September with Tri Australia saying they'll look at hosting domestic races for us," she said.
"But I guess it will depend on how things are looking.
"I'm just trying to remember everyone is in the same boat and it's an unknown time for everyone outside of the sporting world."
