Between 4am-6am on Monday morning, 19.6mm of rain fell at the Bathurst Airport according to Weatherzone.
There were nice falls across the Central West, with Mudgee receiving the most rain with 32.4mm recorded by 7.30am at its weather station at the airport.
Heavy rain was also recorded in Orange overnight with 29mm recorded.
In Cowra 28.8mm fell, iwhile in Parkes the official gauge showed 19.2mm.
Other towns that received less than 10mm of overnight rain included: Dubbo (9.0mm), Forbes (8.4mm) and Lithgow (5.6mm).
And there's more rain forecast on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with Weatherzone predicting a chance of 10-20mm of rainfall on each day.
