The Bathurst couple were wedded at Ophir Reserve on Saturday, with the only people in attendance their wedding officiant, photographer and videographer.
Saturday was the date the couple had originally intended to get married on but after the Federal Government brought in a limit of just five people at weddings to help prevent the spread of coronavirus, the couple had to quickly change their big day.
"After everything with the restrictions, we still wanted to go ahead with it," Ms Caburian said.
"In the weeks coming up to it, we were kind of accepting that we wouldn't be able to celebrate the way we wanted to but it was still the perfect day."
"We got our photographer and videographer as our witnesses. It was really, really lovely."
The wedding venue, which is roughly 30 kilometres north-east of Orange, was one recommended by both their officiant and photographer.
"It was really beautiful out there after all the rain. The creek was running pretty rapidly," she said.
The couple hadn't originally booked a videographer, but that changed when their family and friends couldn't attend.
"When we decided we were going ahead with a bit of an elopement, we got one so we could share the day with our friends and family," Ms Caburian said.
Any while the couple's family and friends were unable to celebrate the big day, the newly weds have a big celebration planned for April 3, 2021.
"We've locked in dates with all our vendors for April 3 next year, so basically we were just trying to get everyone online for the same day and that's a date it dropped on," she said.
"It'll be a nice, big celebration with all our families and friends."
Wedding officiant Kirralee Bourke said it was a special moment to witness the two get married.
"It has warmed my heart with all the changes over the last few weeks that they've decided to go ahead without any guests just in the name of love," she said.
The restriction on no more than five people at wedding ceremonies was introduced at midnight on Wednesday, March 25.
