Abercrombie House will offer High-Tea-in-a-Box this Easter Sunday. The boxes, which cost $15 per person, will contain sweets and sandwiches and other savoury items (no hot food) and will be available for pick-up from the front porch of historic Abercrombie House, on Ophir Road, from noon to 1pm. Abercrombie House will also be offering takeaway Picnic-in-a Box in May; Roast Sunday Lunch in-a-Box in June; and Xmas-in-July Sunday Lunch in-a-Box in July.

Bathurst Visitor Information Centre is inviting the community to "Take A Moment" through a new online campaign. The initiative encourages everyone to take a moment of self-care and revitalisation, but also to "take" a moment and capture an image to share that special moment with the community. Use the hashtag #TakeAMoment when sharing on social media and check out the gallery at visitbathurst.com.au for inspiration.
Bathurst Library members have access to thousands of eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, film streaming and much more. But those who aren't already a member don't have to miss out. Residents in the Bathurst region can sign up to become a temporary eMember and enjoy the same options. The temporary membership can then be transferred to a permanent membership when the library doors are open again.
Bathurst Regional Art Gallery: Have you ever wanted to design your own town? What does your dream home or shop look like? Join in the collaborative digital collage Sim City: BRAG Town. Design your own home, park, shop or other parts of a town to form part of a digital city layout of Bathurst Town Square, viewable on the BRAG website. Mayfield Garden, between Bathurst and Oberon, has made the decision to close to discourage visitors from coming to the region during the coronavirus crisis. Anyone who has purchased tickets for the Autumn Festival, which was to have been held from April 10 to May 3, will be contacted by management.
Photography competition: Regional Development Australia Central West has announced the return of the Central West Is Best photography competition. The theme for 2020 is hometown pride - icons of the Central West. Follow the RDA Central West social media and see if your photos are featured with the hashtags #centralwestisbestphotocomp and #rdacentralwest. Entries open Monday, April 6 and will close at 5pm on Friday, May 8. Entry is free and open to all ages and photographic abilities, as long as you live in the Central West.
