GOVERNMENT restrictions and university policy mean that access to the 2MCE studios is currently restricted so many of our presenters are safely at home. However, that doesn't mean you won't be hearing them.

While we're doing things a little differently at 2MCE at the moment, we are still aiming to give you the music and information you expect from your community radio station.
Everyone's favourite Friday friend, Hannah, has curated playlists for your enjoyment. Tune in at the usual time of Friday at 2pm to hear Hannah's Friday Picks.
On Saturday you'll still hear Rick's Country Mix at 2pm. Rick has set up a home studio and is delivering his much-loved program for country music fans around the Central West. Rick does an amazing job at supporting local musicians so please tune in.
On Sunday morning you'll still hear Ronnie Mac from 10am and his delightful selection of favourite songs while Bruce Cameron follows at midday with Come All Ye, and you'll hear favourite programs from the past few years.om
Chris Tobin and the Country Music Club are spending their days in lockdown polishing their boot scooting moves, but you will still hear great country music from 2pm on Sunday afternoon. Jeff Cox has also curated playlists for Here It Comes Again, so tune in from 8pm on Sunday night for a trip down memory lane.
Every Wednesday at 11am, The Seymour Singalong will be an hour of favourites selected by the Bathurst Seymour Centre. ZOOM or FaceTime your friends to create a virtual choir, or sing along on your own.
Also on Wednesdays at 5.30pm Jac and Em's (in)famous Bandcamp segment will ensure you don't forget them. Go to 2MCE.org for the latest programming schedule.
Getting on with the job
OVER the past few weeks I've also had the privilege of speaking with Charles Sturt University radio and journalism students regarding their assessments and projects.
The majority of them have had to move home and shift to online learning and while it has been challenging for all them, I have been impressed at their resilience and their positive approach to these COVID-19 times.
Working together
DON'T forget, if you're a local business or community organisation trying to get a message out to listeners, our Community Drive program weekday at 4pm can help.
This interactive program aims to share information across the region. Get in touch with Brett behind the mic via 2MCE's Facebook page, or the 2MCE Studio Text Line 0412 009 923.
