OBERON coach Dallas Booth might joke that he will be "well and truly be the fattest back in the comp" if the Mid West Cup goes ahead in 2020, but don't doubt his passion to see the Tigers succeed.

Booth, who is also the president of the Mid West competition, took on the role as coach of the Tigers to help the club after the decision was made to step back from Group 10.
Should the Tigers get the chance to play this season it will be a very different look line-up to the one which competed in the 2019 Group 10 premier league premiership.
But Booth said the passion that comes with wearing a Tigers jumper has not changed.
"There always is pride and always will be. It doesn't matter what grade you play in, whether you play in first grade or second division, you will still get the same amount of people there cheering on the black and gold," he said.
"There's still going to be a lot of fight there, don't worry about that. There's an element of excitement around the town, everyone I spoke to before the virus was genuinely excited."

While there has been talk of Oberon being a Mid West premiership contender, Booth does not agree with any talk of favouritism.
For him it is about giving players a chance to be in the top Oberon side - something they did not get the opportunity to do in Group 10 - and having fun.
"Stepping back to a second division comp you are always going to have that added pressure, that is coming from the fact we played first grade last season," he said.
"But those players who were brought in last year to play first grade are no longer with the club. We have got a young side and some very good footballers, but they are all local footballers.
"The four or five local guys who did play first grade last year have gone to St Pat's to continue in first grade - so it's a completely new side.
"So we're not feeling any pressure and if anything, it has released the pressure valve, we can just go back and have some fun playing on a Saturday arvo.
"A lot of these guys now get to play in the main game, last year a lot of them were in the bench in reserve grade."
