The Mother's Day video project saw the school team up with the Bathurst Academy of Music to produce a cover of 'Mother' by Casey Chambers.
Ten students from the school recorded at the Bathurst Academy of Music, with teacher Donna Miller and local musician Mickey Pye providing a helping hand.
"The Mother's Day project was a way of combining many elements of school life while still respecting the restrictions we are under," principal Patrick Allen said.
"This particular project followed the amazing Anzac Day project which also connected families across the school and across the community.
"The result was a cover of Kasey Chambers song which featured the singing and instrumental talents of the Cathedral School students.
"This project was a beautiful feature of our celebration of this special day."
Mr Allen said the school usually holds a Mother's Day breakfast.
"Each year we celebrate the great contribution our Mother's and female carers make to the life of our school and supporting the learning and growth of our students," he said.
"Given this was not possible this year we decided to produce an iMovie capturing images of our mothers/carers with their children."
