Police thanked the community and media for their assistance.
EARLIER: Bathurst police are appealing for community assistance to locate a man reported missing since Wednesday.
Hamish Goodfellow, 26, left his home on Gormans Hill Road, Gormans Hill, about 6pm on Wednesday and has not been seen by family since.
The man was reported missing to officers from Chifley Police District, who began an investigation into his whereabouts.
Mr Goodfellow is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants, a black hoodie and white hi-top sneakers.
Mr Goodfellow is known to frequent the areas of Bathurst, Lithgow and Orange.
Anyone who may have seen Hamish or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Bathurst police station on 6332 8664 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
