According to Weatherzone, which takes its figures from Bathurst airport, there was 25.2mm of rain on Thursday.
This was followed up by another 8.8mm on Friday, bringing the two-day total to 34mm.
That rain will hopefully make an impact on Chifley Dam, which has recorded increases for four consecutive weeks, even when there's been little to no rainfall.

The dam, as of Tuesday, sat at 34.6 per cent capacity.
For the month so far, Bathurst has recorded about 60mm of rain, which is close to 20mm more than the long-term average for May.
There is a possibility of that figure increasing on Saturday, with Weatherzone forecasting a 60 per cent chance of rain.
This could produce between one and five millimetres for the region.
There is also a 10 per cent chance of rain on Sunday.
