Terryrama gave the Parkes racing family a stunning Group 1 victory during the recent $100,000 TAB Western Region Championships Final and it wouldn't be long before they were in celebration mode once again.

Soldtoyoulady ($9.50, Malcolm Hutchings) flicked on the afterburners to take victory away from Karloo Bodacious ($1.90 favourite, Mat Rue) and Myra Dawn ($9.50, Stephanie Burley), who looked certain to battle it out in a two horse finish until Hutchings' mare arrived on the scene.

Soldtoyoulady pipped Barry Lew's Karloo Bodacious by a head, who in turn beat Steve Turnbull's Myra Dawn by a half neck.

Mo Chara ($51, Robert Harris) was in with a chance of also bringing down the leaders but was blocked for a run with 50m to go, finishing fourth by only a metre.

Winning trainer-driver Malcolm Hutchings said the last few weeks have been a dream for the family.

"[Soldtoyoulady] also went good in the big series the other week in the consolation, and our other horse was lucky enough to win the final so we've had a really big 10 days," he said.

"It's very rewarding to see the work that we're all putting in pay off. My wife, Daphne, and the two boys [Brett and Mitch] all help. It's a great family business."

The winning mile rate on Sunday night was 2:00.5.

Soldtoyoulady was very consistent across the entire Regional Championship series and was unfortunate to miss out on a place in the big race - in which her stablemate succeeded in at huge odds.

She finished fourth in both her heat attempts and finished in the same position for the consolation event.
