The dam level has increased slightly by 0.6 per cent in the past week, sitting at 35.8 per cent as of Tuesday, June 2.
While the level five water restrictions still remain in place, the increase in the water level at the dam is a good sign, considering it fell below 30 per cent at the start of the year.
A red level alert currently remains in place for the dam, however, which means no water-related recreational activities are allowed.
