Bathurst Library and Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, along with other cultural and community facilities, have been closed for more than two months after COVID-19 restrictions were introduced.
Those restrictions have now eased, allowing council to slowly reopen six of its facilities over the course of a week.
The community can start attending the library and the gallery, both located in Keppel Street, from 10am on Tuesday.
As there is still a threat of COVID-19, measures will be in place to ensure social distancing and appropriate hygiene can be maintained.
People can also expect limitations on the number of patrons allowed in each facility at one time.
Other facilities that have reopened include the National Motor Racing Museum, the visitor information centre, the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum and Bathurst Rail Museum.
