The state government announced last week that organised indoor fitness activities [such as dance] will be permitted from June 13 for classes of up to 10 people observing the four square metre rule.
Dance Factory principal Felicity King said the studio is excited to welcome students back.
"It'll be so good to see the students after so many weeks off, and the return to physical classes will be really good for them," Ms King said.
"We've had to alter our classes in accordance with the social distancing rules, but we'll still be maintaining our regular class offerings."
The studio offers classes in a range of styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop and acro, and has maintained over 25 classes online throughout term two.
Ms King said the studio will operate within the recommended hygiene guidelines to ensure everyone's safety.
"We'll have hand washing and sanitising facilities readily available," she said.
"I'm glad we were able to continue online classes, but the studio is definitely where students prefer to dance."
