Fun Theatre characters Little Alex, Little Nel, Little Ben and Little Kaz have created an online show called Fun Theatre at Home to keep their young fans engaged in song, dance and education.
"We've been isolating along with everyone else, and we wanted to create something special for the children of Bathurst to watch," Fun Theatre production manager Alex Vidler [Little Alex] said.
"The videos have involved scripts and ideas from previous shows tweaked for an online format."
In times of normalcy, Fun Theatre put on regular performances at the Bathurst CWA Hall to introduce preschool-aged children to the world of performing arts.
Ms Vidler said the group has made creative use of the Zoom videoconferencing app for online shows.
"It's been really fun to think about how each character can exist in an online environment," she said.
"The online medium has allowed us to play around with cameras and microphones to add a unique flair to performances."
Performances thus far have taught children how to sing, bake a cake and cure hiccups, as well as stressing the importance of looking out for a friend who's under the weather.
Ms Vidler hopes Fun Theatre will be able to return to physical shows in the near future.
"We're closely following government guidelines but with restrictions starting to ease, we're hoping to get something going as soon as we can," she said.
