POLICE are investigating two aggravated break-ins and vehicle thefts in Bathurst that occurred on Monday.

The first incident occurred at 5.15pm, when a man forced entry into a home on Tyndall Street in Kelso.
The occupant confronted the man who then assaulted him and stole keys to his vehicle parked outside.
Three men were seen entering the Mitsubishi Lancer and driving away.
The matter was reported to officers at Bathurst Police Station and an investigation commenced.
Responding police recognised the stolen car and commenced a pursuit, however, for safety reasons the pursuit was terminated.
The second incident occurred at 8.45pm when the stolen vehicle reportedly rammed a car that was travelling on Rankin Street in Bathurst.
Officers patrolling the area responded and again saw the stolen car. Officers pursued the vehicle through Bathurst before losing sight; it was found dumped in Ribbon Gum Place, near Stack Street in Windradyne, about 10pm.
The third incident occurred at 10.40pm, when a woman heard a noise in the hallway of her Billman Place home in Windradyne.
She went to investigate and saw a man inside her home stealing a set of car keys.
The man left the house and was seen getting into her white Toyota Corolla that was parked outside. She reported the matter to police.
Detectives from Chifley Police District have commenced an investigation and would like to hear from anyone who may be able to assist.
