PANORAMA FC president Beau Yates said the late withdrawal of Orange Waratahs from the upcoming Western Premier League season hasn't struck any sort of blow to the Bathurst club's enthusiasm for the competition's return.

Waratahs announced on Sunday they would not be taking to the field for WPL, falling just short of gaining commitment from a full squad for the rescheduled competition.
It brings the competition down to seven clubs as the remaining teams wait for the release of a draw, which Yates is expecting to be announced within the next week.
Yates said he's still expecting the same high calibre football the club had envisioned back when they made the push to bring back the regional competition.
"Everything should still be going ahead, just reshuffled around a bit," he said.
"We've been able to get into bigger group sessions now and the boys are really keen, working hard, and getting themselves ready to go - whether it's next week or the week after, because it will depend on how many rounds they play."
Panorama have been enjoying the chance to get down to Police Paddock once again and get themselves prepared since practice has been permitted over the past few weeks.
The increase to training groups of 20 has been welcomed by the Goats.
With the ability to get a full squad together for a single session it's helped further their training in the lead up to the imminent draw announcement.
The last major hurdle to overcome with the draw, outside of Waratahs' withdrawal, is working around cricket venues.
It's an especially tricky issue for the Dubbo clubs who share grounds for the summer sport.
"That was a reason they were looking to try and finish it in September," Yates said.
"Personally, I think you've got to play the two rounds and play into October to fit the competition in ideally.
"We're still really looking forward to WPL, no matter what format it takes. Hopefully there's still going to be seven teams and that we'll be able to get in a full two round competition."
Bathurst District Football will be releasing their competition draws on Tuesday.
