The cinemas will reopen after more than three months away due to COVID-enforced restrictions, and staff supervisor Wane Howard said the venue is excited to welcome movie-goers back.
"We'll have a number of movies showing on return, including a couple of brand new ones; Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs and Love Sarah; and all tickets will be $10 throughout July," Mr Howard said.
"There will also be a selection of releases from earlier this year getting another run, including Jumanji: The Next Level, Sonic the Hedgehog and Bloodshot."
The venue's no free tickets policy [red and white complementary tickets] will temporarily apply to all films, however Metro movie vouchers will still be accepted.
Mr Howard said the venue has developed a cohesive COVID-safe plan to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.
"Hand sanitiser will be readily available throughout the venue, and social distancing measures will be in place for all cinemas, so we recommend visitors purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment," he said.
"We will be releasing session times early next week."
New releases expected later in July include the New Zealand drama Bellbird, the live action remake of Disney's Mulan and the Christopher Nolan-directed spy thriller Tenet.
"There nothing quite like seeing a movie on the big screen; it's the best way to watch a film," Mr Howard said.
