The Victoria Bathurst is set to resume their live music offerings in July, with a host of local musicians set to take the stage at the revamped Little Alberts room.

Over three Fridays, the venue will play host to local acts Lueth Ajak [July 17], Andy Nelson [July 24] and Kris Schubert [July 31].
"For us, live music has always been part of the fabric of what we're all about in the community," The Victoria Bathurst manager and licensee Heath Smith said.
"We've done a lot of work to Little Alberts in recent months to give it a moodier, saloon-style feel, and a new Mike Foxall-commissioned mural will adorn the wall behind the stage."
Ajak, who will play his first physical live gig in nearly four months, said he's looking forward to helping bring the music back.
"It's been so long and I've missed live gigs so much," he said.
"There's a host of new tunes in the mix and audiences can expect some of my originals, which I intend to start incorporating into my gigs more often."
Nelson's gig will also be one of his first in a number of months, and he said he's itching to get stuck into live performances again.
"There's so much more to live music than playing a gig and going home, it's also about the travelling, the people you meet and the audiences your music finds," he said.
"I'm definitely feeling a bit rusty with it all, but I can't wait to gig again."
Nelson completed a short tour of Western Australia prior to the lockdown.
Schubert too expressed excitement at getting back into the swing of live gigs.
"When you start playing music, you imagine yourself playing live, that's the key driver for many musicians," he said.
"It's great to see Little Alberts being shaped and refined into a special place for local and touring musicians."
In addition, 'The Lizard Kings' will bring back their tribute show to The Doors' self-titled debut album on July 23.
Doors for each gig open at 6pm, with free entry for Friday's performances.
