Following Motorcycling Australia's recent decision to return to racing and subsequent continuation of qualifying rounds for the premier event, Arrow is counting down the days until the gates drop.
"I've been hanging for racing to be back," he beamed when finding out the news that the King of MX Titles were recommencing after being in hiatus for just on 100 days.
"It just makes training and eating properly so much easier."
Prior to the shutdown of competition due to coronavirus restrictions, Bathurst's Mount Panorama was set to host one of six qualifying rounds for Australia's richest motocross race.
Now as restrictions ease, Motorcycling NSW has announced that Dargle and Bathurst will be the venues for the final two chances riders have to compete for a place in the finals.
The news could not have been better Arrow.
"Track knowledge is absolutely a blessing considering it's been a track I've been racing on for 14 years," he said.
"I'll be bringing whatever I can. It's about time I was able to show my potential on my home track."
In 2018, Arrow qualified early in the series, but fractured his wrist a few weeks out from the final at Port Macquarie on the state's mid-north coast.
Although still injured, he received medical clearance to compete in the decider.
"It was upsetting, but it didn't put me out of contention," Arrow said.
"Turning up to the gates that weekend was daunting considering I was competing with a busted wrist against some of the greatest riders in the under 19s class."
Fast forward to 2020, Arrow is now competing in the senior classes and the intensity has never been greater with a limited number of golden tickets left available to make the finals.
Given that Mount Panorama will host the 'last-chance' qualifying round, there will surely be nothing left out on the track to secure a finals' berth.
Arrow believes an intimate knowledge of the track and a strong bike set-up will play in his favour.
"Starts will be key and finishing will be crucial," the talented rider said.
"To grab a ticket to the finals would be great and I'm sure if I stay upright it's not out of my scope."
Panorama Motorcycle Club will host the qualifying event on August 22-23 and feature both junior and senior classes.
Riders who win a ticket through to the finals will go on to compete at Cessnock over three huge days on October 16-18.
