Australian author Tony Park will feature at an online event hosted by Bathurst Library on Wednesday, July 8 at 6pm, which will be free for anyone to register and join.
Park is the author of more than 17 books and his latest novel, Last Survivor, revisits his popular mercenary character, Sonja Kurtz, in his much-loved South African setting.
Bathurst Library's online author talk series, initiated in April, aims to bring big name authors and special events to the community using a different format to allow for COVID-19 restrictions.
Bathurst Library manager Patou Clerc said authors and publishers around the country are reaching out to libraries to offer opportunities to connect with communities online.
"We are thrilled to be able to offer these as free events for the community to attend from the comfort of their homes," she said.
Visit the library website, www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au/library, or Facebook page for information and registration details on Park's talk.
