Arthur and Co. has teamed up with the museum to provide a private tent, alongside food, dessert, hot drinks and full museum entry, starting for the first time on Saturday.
Arthur and Co manager Kate McIlherron said the event is inspired by the event Igloos on the Pier in Sydney.
"Arthur [Aube] and I have been up their a few times and we love it," she said.
"We thought it be something different and exciting for Bathurst."
Sessions run from 5-6.30pm and 6.30-8pm on July 4-5, July 10-12 and July 17-19.
Ms McIlherron said there's been plenty of interest already for the glamping experience at the museum.
"The community support from our customers has been fantastic," she said.
"Even if you miss out this weekend, there's still another two weekends.
"There's plenty of space for everyone, up to six in a tent. Families and couples are welcome."
Bathurst Rail Museum coordinator Ben O'Regan said one of the main goals of the museum when it opened back in February was to be able to facilitate community events like this.
"To be able to grab this opportunity, tying in with the winter festival which is the building event in Bathurst, is a great way to kick things off for us," he said.
"Even though we've been open for a short while, we're still coming to terms with the new normal and getting a better handle of it.
"Being able to have some elements of allowing people to get out and experience the winter festival in a different way, we can adapt and provide something different."
