Collegians Soccer Club will host a Coerver Coaching Camp technical development program for youth players at Cubis Park, Eglinton. Day one, on Wednesday, July 8, will run from 9am to noon and 1pm to 4pm, and day two, on Thursday, July 9, will run from 9am to noon and 1pm to 4pm. All players will be supervised from 8.30am to 4.30pm each day by members of Collegians Soccer Club who have current WWCC. Participants will need to bring a packed lunch, sunscreen, water and their soccer gear. Petbarn Bathurst is accepting donations to the Seeing Eye Dogs Appeal until August 2. The appeal aims to raise more than $500,000 to help cover the costs of breeding, training, and caring for at least 10 Seeing Eye Dogs. Bestselling Australian author Tony Park will speak at an online event hosted by Bathurst Library this Wednesday, July 8 at 6pm, which will be free for anyone to register and join. Park is the author of more than 17 books and his latest novel, Last Survivor, revisits his popular mercenary character, Sonja Kurtz.
