The changes will include an additional weekday early morning service on Route 520 (Bathurst to West Bathurst and Windradyne) and Route 523 (Bathurst to Eglinton and North Bathurst) to the railway station to connect to the Bathurst Bullet 2.0 service.
There is also an extension of Saturday hours on a number of routes, including to South Bathurst and Eglinton and North Bathurst.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Member for Bathurst Paul Toole, who is the Minister for Regional Transport and Roads, said the new timetable is part of the NSW Government's 16 Regional Cities program, which aims "to deliver more travel flexibility to regional communities and provide better connections for customers to get to work, school, health, and social and recreational activities".
"We will be delivering 57 additional services each week to the bus network in Bathurst so that the local community has more access and more choice when it comes to travelling around our city," he said.
"We have spoken to operators and council about what services would be of benefit and implemented network changes that will support improved connectivity.
"The additional trips will enable travel to and from employment, the university and TAFE, dining, as well as local connectivity to the new Bathurst Bullet 2.0 to Sydney."
Mr Toole said the changes to the Bathurst bus network would make public transport a stronger option for people going about their daily tasks.
"The 16 Regional Cities program marks another step forward in our efforts to build a stronger public transport offering across regional NSW that gives customers more choice and flexibility," he said.
The Bathurst Bullet 2.0 daily return service to Sydney, which offers more options by leaving Bathurst later and returning earlier, started running in September last year.
