Predictions of rain are as high as 90 per cent in some Central West towns on Saturday, while the chance drops a little on Sunday.
Lithgow could see as much as 50 millimetres of rain during the two days, while towns including Cowra, Dubbo, Parkes and Wellington are not far behind with up to 45mm possible.
Rain is also possible in Forbes, Orange and Young with up to 25mm predicted across the weekend.
Forecasting shows that Bathurst and Mudgee will see the least rain with 15mm possible during the two days.
