Bathurst District Football women's first grade might have just found its equivalent match.
CSU FC hammered Panorama FC by that same scoreline in a grand final rematch like no other.
All eight goals in the match came inside a wild opening half of football, where CSU's dangerous through balls in the wet weather put the game to bed before the break.
CSU ran out to a 2-0 lead in the space of just five minutes when Tayla Lloyd punished Panorama for a failed corner clearance and Jasmine Christie-Johnson's found a goal.
Teegan Ward latched onto an excellent long through ball from Jess Gostelow to give Panorama a quick reply in the seventh minute.
But from there it was one-sided mayhem.
Christie-Johnson found her second goal of the day in the 19th minute with a stunning strike outside of the box and a successful long range attempt from near the half way line from Chloe Anlezark pushed the score out to 4-1.
CSU found goal number five before the half hour mark had even ticked over, as Minna Annand found the target on the break.
The Vixens piled on the pain with two more goals inside the last six minutes.
Annand was involved in both, scoring from the top of the penalty area before setting up Mackenzie Ryan for her sweetly-hit half volley.
Panorama's defence at the back and through the midfield picked up their game to deny any second half goals but the damage was well and truly done.
"We used the space, passed it well to each other and the goals were outstanding," CSU coach Brice Dwyer said.
"I honestly couldn't have imagined anything like this.
"We used our triangles, played the ball through and our corners were great."
