We were absolutely shocked and dismayed to hear that cancer patients were required to travel to Orange for their first and/or complex chemotherapy treatments.
We were very upset to hear that the Health Service had failed cancer patients with their short-sighted decision not to continue the services of Victoria Collins as the senior oncologist pharmacist at Daffodil Cottage.

We have all had first-hand experience of attending treatment at Daffodil Cottage and know that during the time that Victoria has been in that position for the past four years, she has assisted many cancer patients in her professional capacity with a sympathetic and caring manner which has helped them considerably.
We know that she is a well-liked employee at Daffodil Cottage and is loved by current and former cancer patients and her staff colleagues.
We are extremely concerned for future cancer patients who need the assistance of a caring and experienced oncologist pharmacist when they are receiving their treatment.
It is beyond our understanding why such a caring and qualified person has not been retained in the position of senior oncologist pharmacist at Daffodil Cottage.
We request the Health Department management to reconsider their decision and re-appoint Victoria as the senior oncologist pharmacist at Daffodil Cottage so that cancer patients can be assured of continued professional and caring assistance during their treatment.
