The markets have been cleared to resume with COVID-safe measures in place to allow the event to run safely and securely for visitors and stallholders.
Visitors can expect around 25 stallholders selling various goods, each of whom will be in compliance with current COVID-safe practices and social distancing will be encouraged.
Hand-wash stations will also be present.
"Our COVID-safe plan has been approved by NSW, and we're confident the event will run smoothly as long as members of the public cooperate," Bathurst Macquarie Lions Club president Sue Longmore said.
"This will be our first market since March, so we're excited to get back into it."
The stalls will cater for a range of items and needs, including preserves and baked goods, second hand goods, plants, honey, home made clothes and knitted wear for adults and children, recycled goods, cards, artwork, CDs, DVDs and giftware.
"We encourage anyone with a car boot full of wares they want to part ways with to come down and set up shop," market coordinator Graham Carter said.
"First-time stallholders can set up shop free of charge and for a small fee, can be covered by our public liability insurance."
The Macquarie Lions food van will also be on hand, providing hot and cold drinks, egg and bacon rolls and sausage sandwiches to keep everyone suitably nourished.
Many stallholders have spent much of the COVID-19 lockdown period honing their craft and adding to their supply, and are expected to have a significant range of stock on sale this weekend.
Berry Park is situated in Lions Club Drive, across the road from the Bathurst Community Op Shop.
The Riverside Markets will get under way this Saturday from 10am and run until 2pm, and will return to its usual time slot [8am to 1pm] in September as warmer weather returns.
