She wants to make sure that luck doesn't factor into the equation as the Giants hunt for their 17th consecutive win.
This time Kennedy wants to make sure her side doesn't need a late goal to see them scrape over the line against the Lady Bushrangers.
"It was very close and I think we were actually lucky to come away with the win in that one, I think Bushies actually deserved it a bit more than we did," the Giants skipper said.
"The fact that we just locked in our end for 90 percent of the last quarter was what did it. They came out firing in that third quarter, but in the fourth quarter we were able to lock it in our half.
"We kicked about five points and then finally got a goal and by that time the siren had sounded and we won by five points."
The second meeting of the Bathurst rivals comes just 14 days after that first contest and while they have both won since then - the Giants grinding it out against Dubbo and the Lady Bushrangers comfortable victors against Orange - Kennedy feels the result is hard to predict.
Part of that lies in the fact the Bathurst outfits play a similar brand of football.
"It makes it a bit interesting because we are playing each other so close together and the last game was so close as well, like not much has really changed so you don't know if it's going to be the same outcome," Kennedy said.
"If there's a bit of space between games, you have time to think about it and reflect on the game, but because it's so close I think it's anyone's ball game really.
"I definitely think we are very similar teams. Whereas Dubbo likes to be physical and hard at the ball, I think both us and Bushies like to get that run happening through the centre.
"It's hard to try and work out how to beat them when we are very similar teams. Our team dynamics are very, very similar. It's going to be a hard-fought win if we get it, that's for sure."
Opening bounce at George Park 2 is at 1pm.
