Utility investigation on the Great Western Highway between Kelso and Raglan next week will result in changed traffic conditions.
Work will start on Monday, August 3, and involves using a water vacuum excavator to dig potholes and high pressure water.
Work will be carried out between 7am-6pm on weekdays and between 8am-1pm Saturday. It's expected to be completed in two weeks, weather permitting.
Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 kilometres per hour will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists during work hours.
Access to businesses and residences will be maintained while works takes place.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
