Recent inflow and rain has seen Ben Chifley Dam spike once again and leaves it just below half full.
As of Tuesday, July 28, the dam had a capacity of 48.4 per cent, a sharp increase of last Tuesday's reading of 41 per cent and a slight increase on the reading last Friday of 47.1 per cent.
The big increase in the dam's level comes after Bathurst received a healthy 64.6 millimetres from July 25-29, with that total accounting for 81 per cent of the rain that fell in July.
