I agree with all of the points made in this editorial.
I could not think of a safer place to be right now than Bathurst.
But we are currently receiving unprecedented tourist activity, and mostly from Greater Sydney and the Blue Mountains, both coronavirus 'hot-spots'.
IN OTHER NEWS:
We abide by all the conditions placed on us when dealing with visitors to our cellar door, and I intend to comply with the latest social recommendations.
I have a supply of face masks and will be wearing one on my next supermarket visit in town.
I keep the COVIDsafe app active.
Yes, this pandemic is an inconvenience, but I intend to live to see the end of it.
