For 12 long - and at times heartbreaking - months, Mrs Denyer and husband Grant have been trying to add baby number three to their family.
Mrs Denyer suffered a miscarriage earlier this year amid the COVID-19 lockdowns when she was six weeks pregnant and it left the couple devastated.
"I was really upset at the time and quite shocked," she said.
"With everything happening and with COVID and the lockdowns, I felt a bit hopeless.
"I think I've recovered."
Mrs Denyer is 12 weeks pregnant these days, but has been suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) since early in the pregnancy.
The condition, which also affected Duchess of Cambridge Kate, sees women suffer severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss and dehydration.
"You just vomit day and night, you can't keep anything down and it can actually be life-threatening for the baby," Mrs Denyer said.
"I've been going in [to hospital] a couple of times a week for a bag of fluids since I was six weeks pregnant.
"The last two pregnancies I was hospitalised because of HG.
"The ambulatory care up at Bathurst Hospital has been fantastic."
The couple already have two daughters, Sailor, 9, and Scout 4, and Mrs Denyer said with these pregnancies, her HG symptoms did ease up after the 15-week mark - something she is hopeful will happen this time, though right now the going is tough.
"About three weeks ago it became a real mental challenge," she said.
While HG might have left her exhausted, the young family are excited about the future.
"They squealed and screamed and said 'can we tell everyone'," she said of when the couple told their daughters about the pregnancy.
"We're so excited, we're really thrilled and I think it's because it took us longer to fall pregnant."
In the lead-up to the due date on March 1, 2021, the couple are hoping to finish off major renovations at their farm just outside Bathurst while they prepare for a newborn.
"Grant is a really great dad; he's just a sweetheart and very hands on," Mrs Denyer said.
"This year he's been home much, much more and it's really beautiful to watch.
"He's with Scout while she races around on a motorbike and a go-kart; while Sailor's really into books, writing, painting her nails and talking about dreams."
