While the snow again eluded the Bathurst CBD and nearby suburbs, Oberon received centimetre-deep falls, while there was enough at Sunny Corner, Yetholme and Mount Rankin for residents to bask in their own 'winter wonderland'.
A small dusting of snow settled atop Mount Panorama, however the covering had subsided by early afternoon.
The occasion caused many members of the community to connect snow chains to their tyres and explore areas that received thicker coverings of snow.
The snow closed major roads, including the Great Western and Mitchell highways and some roads, mostly around Oberon and Jenolan Caves, remained closed into Sunday.
A host of residents snapped photographs to share their own 'winter wonderland. If you have any pictures of Saturday's snow to share, email photos@westernadvocate.com.au.
