Momentum [Lauren Hagney and Dave Webb] and Walls have deepened the song's emotional tone through soft/loud dynamics, a scintillating guitar/violin duel and a lush music video taking in the scenery of Mount Ovens, near Napoleon Reef.
"We'd seen Sarah do some modern adaptations of songs on the violin, and Dave called her in to add some violin tracks to a cover he was working on, which ended up being 'Wicked Game'," Hagney said.
"Both Dave and Sarah are immensely proficient with their chosen instruments, and their solo parts are completely improvised."

With Webb and Walls taking the lead on the music side, Hagney [along with providing vocals], filmed the video mostly herself, using solely phone and drone footage courtesy of Hagney Sky High Aerial Footage.
"The direction Dave and Sarah went with the song gave me the idea to use large, sweeping vistas and mountainscapes as the backdrop for the video," she said.
"COVID-19 has been tough for all creatives, but its nice to see the community get behind local musicians in these trying times."
Momentum's version of 'Wicked Game' is now available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music, and the accompanying video is available to view on YouTube.
