Panorama claimed a 3-1 win away against Orana Spurs on Saturday to keep the finals within their sights with two games remaining.
The Goats weren't at their finest in the win over the Dubbo side but did more than enough to break down a physical Spurs, with goals coming from Ryan Peacock, Will Fitzpatrick and Jarrod Portegies.
Panorama manager Brent Osborne said it wasn't pretty football but the team were happy to take three points back to Bathurst.
"We didn't play that well, to be honest. It was pretty scrappy. They're a hard and awkward team to play, with a couple of good strikers up front and they're good at pushing forward," he said.
"It wasn't easy, but we're starting to get some nice consistent performances. To win in a game where you're not having your best day is a sign you're going alright."
Peacock pounced on a loose ball in the box to open the scoring and continue his goal-scoring form, before Fitzpatrick doubled the advantage from the penalty spot.
Jarrod Portegies converted from a free kick deflection to complete Panorama's strong night from set pieces, which made up for their scrappier play elsewhere on the paddock.
Spurs managed to get one goal back on Panorama but the visitors never let the hosts gain any momentum, keeping the two goal gap through the rest of the game.
It completes a winning double over the Spurs this season following Panorama's 4-1 success at home earlier in the year.
Panorama now turn their attention towards the closing games of the regular season against Parkes Cobras and Macquarie United.
"It feels like a grand final every week. If we can get the three points at Parkes things will be looking okay, but we may still need things to go our way to make it all happen," Osborne said.
"It's all about keeping focused on that next game though. We're not going to get too far ahead of ourselves."
In other results over the past week Macquarie United defeated Lithgow Workmans 4-1, Parkes Cobras upset the Dubbo Bulls 2-1 and Lithgow beat Parkes 3-1 in their rescheduled clash.
