BATHURST Regional Council sold just over half of the 39 lots available in stage B of Sunnybright Estate in one evening.

The ballot draw for the lots was held on Friday evening, conducted virtually to ensure safety in COVID-19 times.
A spokesperson for council said that the ballot was conducted in the same way it would be traditional done, with the only addition being an independent person overseeing the draw and livestreaming.
People were notified of the ballot weeks ago and had to register in advance.
Almost 100 applications were received.
On the night, there were 21 lots sold, including the four dual serviced lots in stage B.
"Given the current climate, the results represents an exceptional result from council's land development activities," the spokesperson said.
The remaining 18 lots are now available to purchase from council.
Interested parties can visit www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au or call council's property section on 6333 6235 to inquire about purchasing lots.
The remaining lots range in price from $145,000 to $230,000.
The smallest lot available is 550 square metres, while the biggest is 1336 square metres.
Council also has 14 lots still available in stage A of the development, with the rest either sold or marked as 'on hold'.
Close to 40 were still available in June, indicating a significant increase in interest in the Kelso estate.
Remaining stage A lots range in price from $160,000 to $240,000, and are sized between 616 and 1317 square metres.
There are still dual serviced lots available.
