Bushrangers secured their finals place with a 5-5-35 to 2-3-15 victory away to the Demons, with the Bathurst defence a highlight throughout the match.
Defeat to the Orange Tigers a week earlier had given the Bushrangers plenty to review in the days leading up to the Demons game and they were able to put together a much more cohesive performance.
The win means Bushrangers can't fall outside the top three.
It was the Bushrangers' first taste of victory in almost a month, due to a bye and washout in previous rounds.
Coach Brian Matheson said the Tigers clash showed that the team had to keep focused for the full game against the Demons, and that was what they were able to achieve.
"We didn't play the way we wanted to against Orange and it wasn't a result we were expecting," he said.
"I think I've used this word more in the last week than I have in my whole life before that, but I was really perplexed with what happened over in Orange. For the girls to recover was great to see."
Bushrangers shot out to a 4-2-26 to 1-3-9 lead at the main break.
The visitors' defence made life difficult for the Demons from the opening minutes, stepping up their game from a week earlier to keep scoring opportunities to a minimum.
By the time the Demons had managed to get their second goal late in the game the result was already confirmed.

Bushrangers were kept scoreless in the last term but their strong work early in the piece had given them plenty of breathing room.
It was the kind of performance Matheson wanted to see at this point of the season.
"Dubbo are a competitive and skilful side but our girls went out and played probably our best game of the season," he said.
"Everything we worked on at training gelled and every single player stood up. It was a fantastic effort and a great way to bounce back from a loss.
"Our backline was superb. We didn't have a lot of rotations because one of our better on-ballers pulled out the night before the game. Everyone had to keep pushing.
"Special mention goes to Tomika Speer. She's on 17 in her first year of football and she had to move from the backline to centre half forward. She was outstanding."
