In a recent post on the Find Janine Vaughan Facebook page, Janine's sister, Kylie Spelde, told how a man, who spoke with Janine the night she went missing made contact with the family for the first time in 19 years.
Mrs Spelde said she can't stress enough how important it is to have a full list of people that were out that night, at both The Ox and the Tavern.
"I have just spoken with a guy who I had never heard of in 19 years and he has not been spoken with and he was at both pubs and talked with Janine," she said.
"Please if you were there or know someone who was, please let me know."
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Mrs Spelde said they have been overwhelmed with the support from the Bathurst community and the number of people who have come forward with information.
"What we have found is there are a number of people who were never interviewed by police at the time who have important information.
"We have also discovered that some people who were interviewed by police, their statements never made it to the inquest. So we plead that anyone with information, whether you were interviewed at the time or not, to please come forward now," she said.
"We want to hear from people who were at the Metro Tavern the night Janine disappeared. We need names of everyone who was drinking at The Tavern that night including the police officers who were there and who haven't been named.
"Anyone that interacted with Janine is important to us."
"We also want to hear from people who shopped at Ed Harry's and noticed anything unusual or who knew Janine and had conversations with her.
"Also, we want to know about the people who had access to a small red or pinky/red or salmon coloured car-man or woman in 2001.
"Every bit of information, big or small, is important to us and we will listen."
A one million dollar reward for information leading to the conviction of Janine Vaughan's killer remains in place. If you know anything call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or Kylie Spelde on 0400 037 928. Information can be given anonymously.
