SUPPORTERS of jailed Australian academic Kylie Moore-Gilbert will run together on Sunday to raise awareness of the former Bathurst woman's plight.

Ms Moore-Gilbert, a former student of All Saints' College, was arrested in Iran in September 2018 while at an educational conference and later convicted of espionage.
She is understood to be serving a 10-year sentence. The Australian Government rejects the charges against her.
Sunday marks two years since her arrest and friends will meet in Bathurst's Berry Park on Sunday morning for a short run to show their support.

The FreeKylieMG group has also invited Australians and supporters of Ms Moore-Gilbert around the world to share photos of themselves running or walking on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #WeRunWithKylie.
The idea came from news that Ms Moore-Gilbert has been running during her short visits to the prison exercise area inside Iran's Qarchak prison, where she is held.
"Running with Kylie sends a message of love and support to Kylie and her family," friend and colleague Dr Jessie Moritz said.
"She may be 12,000 kilometres away, but this way she'll know that she's not alone when she runs; we'll be right there with her every day until she's home."
To mark the second anniversary of Ms Moore-Gilbert's incarceration, the FreeKylieMG campaign is coming together with her friends in Bathurst, the Free Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert change.org petition and the Free Kylie Moore-Gilbert Facebook group to show their support.
People are invited to participate by:
- Joining Ms Moore-Gilbert on her run on or after Sunday, September 13. Run, walk, or skip alongside Kylie. Run for two minutes, 20 minutes, or 200 minutes - it's up to you..
- Taking a photo and posting it to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #WeRunWithKylie.
- Tagging the group on Twitter @FreeKylieMG, Instagram @FreeKylieMG, or Facebook https://bit.ly/3jQMtYU.
- Tagging friends, family and co-workers - and ask them to Run with Kylie, too.
Supporters are reminded to exercise social distancing and to strictly follow all local COVID-19 regulations when taking part in the campaign.
